Why is this so hard for me? Why can't I do everything like I did in high school? It's not fair!!!

You mean I have to tell so-and-so I CAN'T play in ____ for them?

As far as I'm concerned it must be a really, really good sign that you have so many offers that you must turn people down as a freshman, which means you're probably starting out your music college career on the right foot. I'm sure things will work out for the better. If anyone gives you crap about not being able to play for them I'm sure they'll get over it eventually. I'm so happy that you found something that you love to do!
